Grace's afterlife isn't all it's cracked up to be. For starters, with 33 years of sinful living, she didn't exactly ascend to Heaven. Adding insult to eternal injury, Heaven has been waging war on Hell with an annual extermination of the sinners who reside there.

Grace has kept herself safe by wallowing in a personal Hell of her own design. For thirteen years, she has reclused alone in a tiny apartment in one of Hell's slums, emerging only when necessary.

When a desperate search for food leads Grace through the worst part of town, her run-in with a mugger results in what would have been a fatal wound for other souls.

But Pentagram City has eyes, and one of Hell's most powerful demon Overlords bears witness to the scope of Grace's so-called remarkable talent, yanking her into a tug-o-war between rival Overlords.

Following a nightmarish evening back in her hovel, Grace takes refuge at the Hazbin Hotel, where she encounters the creepiest thing on two hooves: the infamous Radio Demon.

To Grace's surprise, her terror soon turns to lust and before long, she embarks on the most unexpected and unconventional love affair of an afterlifetime.
